This is my first time performing in the crowd and this was held @ Hugot Cafe, Times Laspinas City near Perpetual Help. They have open mic session every Friday, open for all artists like musicians, poetry artists and magicians. They gave us free food for complimentary. The staffs are really nice and friendly. Ambience is warm and relaxing. Food price is affordable, in case you want to come and eat here. Price starts @ 50 pesos and that's for the coffee barako. :- ) IF YOU EVER WANT TO PERFORM HERE PLEASE PLEASE DONT FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN INSTRUMENTS AND YOUR OWN CORD. :)
Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko // Rey Valera // Acoustic Cover
Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko is one of my favorite OPM song, this song is one of my childhood song. Me and My dad used to sing this together, He taught me the flow and the progression of the song and this is the reason why I was eager to learn different rendition of "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko". Aside from the acoustic rendition, I can do it by the style of being sweet like "Moira dela torre way" haha and Jazz kind of way., In this video, I only sang the 1st verse and the 1st chorus. because the video quality is not that good starting on the 2nd verse but sooner, I will upload a good quality of this cover.
Oh, and yes, by the way.. This event was held @ Buku Buku cafe, SM Southmall Laspinas City. This was one of the starter gig I had before. The time where I met tons of different cool artists. It was a great experience to be part of that event that day..

So basically, the first time I heard this song, I was like "woooah, sarap pag damot nitong kantang ito. Ang solid", makes me want to fall in love again haha. It's really really good.. very much nostalgic vibes. You just have to sit back, listen, spent a coffee with the moon and stars and feel the song. I just love how underrated it was. I chose to cover Buwan because every time I hear this song I remembered someone I admire. ((Someone who doesn't like me back)) sad :- ( hahaha just kiddin'..
Well, I really had a hard time searching for the chord progression during the practice because it didn't matches with my notes. Sorry if I ever had mistakes, I did an hour practice of buwan so please be sweet to me :- ( I promise that I'll cover one good and nice video of buwan next time :> ( pag hindi na toxic masyado sa crowd hehe) Thank you. So this is a short cover of Mundo by The Aces. This event was held @ Buku Buku Cafe, SM Southmall. Basically, As a Head of the band, the reason why I chose this song because aside from "kasi trend siya" well, we all know this song is a pretty good song. I can feel being aesthetic as fudge. thus, I love it because as a musician, it catches my attention haha. Whenever I hear or listen to this song it's like IV of spades is serenading me haha :- (

I wrote this song not because i was inspired by someone else in mind, but because of those people who inspired me every singe day. Even though if I'm tired, they ask me if how my day was. Even though I'm in my bad days, they will cheer me up:- ) Y'all know who you guys are. I LOVE YOU.

One of my dreams is to collect perfect and good guitars. I want to display them in my room and name each one of them like a friend. Playing guitar is one of my hobby, I was taught to read guitar chords and tabs during my high school days by my dad. I never thought I would come this far, liking and considering guitars as my friend. Here are the list of guitars that I want to collect.. one is Acoustic, two is Electric, three is Ukelele, and lastly is bass guitars. I already knew how to play them all except the Bass guitar, sooner I will going figure it out on how to play bass guitar :)

TRAVEL LAND AND SEAS
The top 4 dreams on my list is to travel. Travel before you run out of time and Live with no excuses and travel with no regrets. There are so much places and countries that I would like to visit, The top places that I want to visit are Japan, Korea, Road tour here in Philippines, US, China, Thailand and many more. Someday, I want to travel with my friends or family so that it'll be exciting. Travel is to Live. This is one of the list I want to do before I die. Don't let your dreams be dreams.

PERFORM
One of my biggest dreams is to perform Live and be one of those famous artists. It's not that I want to be popular but for the reason because I want the world to know my songs. I want to inspired many young artists that also wants to dream to be a performer. For now, I am having a hard time to balance school and all the GIGS that I currently have but of course, I prioritize all my academics first. Being a artists is one of my dream and my best way of having a better problem solution is to keep writing songs.. Writing a song is like a diary to me, like for every situation there is a suitable line for a song. You write all the climax happening in your life and then boom. Sometimes I was not writing songs for myself, but I write for life.
Someday, I'll be one of those good lit artists and people will recognize all of my songs. That's all :)

BE HAPPY NOT FAKE HAPPY
Well yes, I admit that I am not that 100% happy because I wasn't been able to do what I love to do and I know every one of us is fake happy too, Sometimes I get sad, but I need to stay positive every time so that I can fulfill my works and duties in life, I love making everyone believe that what you get is what you see but I know I'm fake happy, It feels so fake happy.
Just keep positive. Positive thinking isn't about expecting the best to happen every time. but accepting that whatever happens is the best for the moment.
I think it's time to be happy again :)

LEARN ALL THE INSTRUMENTS
My top 1 in my bucket list is to learn all the instruments, Also, to have my own music studio, but I guess at my age of 20, I will not might be able to learn them all. There so many instruments in the world, I might fail in this task. The instruments that I will be learning sooner is to play bass guitar and drums. (I'll be one of those sk8er bois) haha just joking and yessss, that's all for now. :)
